Well, maybe not the cover....and it wasn't Rolling Stone either. (Gotta be honest here - disclosure, you know) But I did get an article about real estate published. In a magazine. With pages & everything...real ads even!
Back in January, Arizona Gourmet Living magazine asked me to write an article about real estate for their spring issue. Having just finished research for a blog post about the fall in prices allowing "Average Joe" to buy a home, I figured that fleshing out this thought a little further would be a good idea.
I wanted to produce a market report that told the story of how the declining market was actually helping first-time homebuyers, instead of the usual moaning about the drop in prices: showing how regular people can actually benefit from today's real estate conditions.
Hopefully, I will be asked to write more pieces for them or another magazine - it sure makes Mom proud to see that her early years teaching english wasn't completely lost on her son! Guess I'll be famous in about 5 years when this issue hits the doctors' offices, huh?
