Yesterday, I had an errand to run down at the city planning & zoning office in the Pima County Public Works building. On my way out, I noticed that the bus stop shelter was pretty remarkable in its own right...with a theme that really is appropriate for its location just outside the doors of this building:
This could have easily been a regular old "run of the mill" bus shelter, but the appropriate art and theme for the location makes it special!
It sure would be nice to see more shelters with the thought process that produced this one involved - perhaps schools could be invited to theme the ones close to them, historic areas could tell a little about their heritage...the possibilities are endless!
